Justine Lord is currently a student at Sheffield Hallam University studying photography. Her work falls into the Fine Art category of photography, she enjoys photographing landscapes and capturing the beauty within them. 

Justine appreciates the ideas within the sublime, the beautiful and the picturesque within her work. Within her work she is focusing on shapes and lines and the ideas of ‘desire paths’ within the landscape, how they are formed from people walking the routes that they decided. She draws great inspiration from Fay Godwin and her work surrounding the British countryside.

What she appreciates about being out in the landscape is the freedom; the wide-open space of being outside and the great deal of experimentation you can do when outside.She works mainly in a digital format as she enjoys the process of taking photos and also digitally editing them, but she does also enjoy using traditional methods.
